This event is in loving memory of
Mary Corrine Robinson
November 20, 1960 — September 14, 1999
Each year, family members, friends and community members join together to
celebrate the life of Mary Robinson. "Mary Robinson's life is still giving," said
Gay Walker, an art therapist. "Her name is very much alive. Her experiences are
helping other people. That’s what healing is about."
Mary was the mother of two wonderful children, Christopher and Cameron and
the beloved wife of Tom for 15 years. Throughout her eight year battle with
breast cancer, Mary always had courage and hope. She possessed a quiet strength
and positive outlook for herself, her family and her friends every day of her
life.
Mary strongly supported the Komen Foundation and the Race for the Cure®. She
won the survivors race in 1997 and 1998.
Mary Corrine Robinson remains a true inspiration for all women, men and
families faced with breast cancer.
