Become a Team Captain
Teams are the backbone of the Southwest Michigan Race and we make it easy and fun to build your own team of friends, family and co-workers. You must register your team online before your team members can join. Click here to learn more. Register your team online for the 2012

Become a Participant
The Race for the Cure is an event for the whole family! Please join us for a day filled with hope and inspiration. Online registration is now open and is quick and easy to do. Become a Supporter
A registration category for people who aren’t able to run or walk in the race - volunteers, cheerleaders,  or people who live too far away. Supporters may want to fundraise; this registration category allows supporters to  set up their own  online fundraising page and fundraise for the cause.   Registered Supporters receive the 16th Annual Race packet which includes a Race for the Cure t-shirt . Become a Fundraiser
Your race registration gets you to the start line – your fundraising will help get us all to the cures! We encourage all participants to raise at least $100. But don’t stop there! There are great prizes for higher fundraising levels. To view the great prizes you can earn Click here.

The Power of 10!
Ask 10 people for $10. That’s all it takes to make a difference.  If every participant collected at least $100 in pledge/donations, we would have an additional $300,000 to fund breast cancer research and provide education, screening and support services to those in our community who cannot afford them.

The Race for the Cure is our signature fundraising event.  Last year 35% of the people registered were also fundraisers. We want to increase the number to 75%! We need your help! We make fundraising easy by giving you all the tools you need to be successful and then we reward you with prizes for all your hard work. Click here for more information.

Become a Sponsor

Become a Volunteer
In order to be able to invest nearly all the money raised at the Race in our mission, we rely completely on volunteers to plan and carry out the event. We need 200 volunteers just to make it happen and we need you! If you are interested in volunteering click here.

Honor a Loved One on the Memory Wall
For the fourth year, we will have a Memory Wall to remember and honor  loved ones who have lost the battle with breast cancer.  If you would like to have a picture of your loved one displayed on the Memory Wall at the Race, please send us a photograph along with a brief message to be posted with the photo. We request that you include a $5 donation to cover the cost of enlarging the photo. We will return the picture you send if you enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.
