Team Awards

The 2012 Susan G. Komen Southwest Michigan Affiliate Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS!

Our Race teams can change history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen Southwest Michigan Affiliate Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. A Race for the Cure team is a group of 5 or more participants who join together for the Race season to have fun and raise funds to empower the breast cancer movement.

Team Awards

Team awards help drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last!

To qualify for team awards the following deadlines apply:
Mail-in registrations and donations to be counted towards Team Awards must be postmaked by May 7, 2012
Online registraion and donations must be completed by 10:00 pm Thursday, May 17, 2012.

Award Categories

• Overall Winner
• Highest donation total from an organization with more than 500 employees
• Highest donaton total from an organization with 200-499 employees
• Highest donation total from an organization with less than 200 employees
• Highest donation total from a Elementary, Middle School or Church team
• Highest donation total from a High School team
• Highest donation total from a Friends and Family generated team
• Highest donation total from a new team
• Team with highest percentage increase in donations
